Dear MHS Football Boosters:
It seems like just a few short days ago we were all standing together watching practice,
games, or competitions. If you are like me you can’t wait for next season to begin.
With high aspirations for next season your board and booster club is off and running
planning for the upcoming events. There are many exciting things happening at our school. There are new football
locker rooms as well as other exciting infrastructure improvements. Our student athletes deserve the best and it is
your clubs desire to do everything possible to insure they have it.
In order to make this happen we need everyone’s time, talents, and financial
support. Your membership and involvement in the club allows us to provide numerous essentials that are not provided
for by the county or the school. Listed below is just a small sample of what your club membership provides our student
athletes:
- Pre-game meals for players and coaches before each Friday night game
- Football uniforms
- Training equipment (mats, practice gear, weights, etc.)
- Lay/volunteer coaching supplements
- Practice & game field maintenance/supplies
- Coaching clinics & continuing education courses
- Banquets & other recognition items
We are beginning our 2007 membership campaign this month in preparation for the upcoming season. Your financial
and volunteer support is required if we are going to take our programs to the next level and give our athletes the support
they require.
We would also like to see each of you at our regular monthly meetings. Our scheduled
meetings are the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm at the school. The more hands we have the lighter the load!!
